Our Team

Dana has assembled a professional and effective team that supports her in her endeavor to provide the highest level of service. Please read on to get more familiar with the staff you can expect to work closely with at our office.

Chelsea Scarbrough, Paralegal

Chelsea holds a BA in English and a BS in psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. She has been a paralegal for Dana since 2019. At the office, she is motivated to ensure that cases are moving forward at an appropriate pace and that clients are receiving the attention they deserve. Outside the office, she enjoys reading, hiking, cooking, and spending time at home with her cat and her partner of nearly 20 years.

Jeanie Minter, Legal Assistant

Jeanie is a hard-working wife of 15 years to Daniel and "mama bear" of two kiddos, Cas and Lizzy. When she's not fishing, cooking, crafting, or spending time with family, she can be found at her desk working hard and providing clients with a sense of compassion, reassurance, and empathy. She also enjoys playing games and coloring with the little ones who come in the office with their parents or guardians. In 2009, she earned her Associates Degree in Applied Science with focus on Paralegal Studies from Jones College.

Nancy Braddock, Receptionist

Nancy is the wife of Darin and dog mom to two furry little ones, Tiny and Puddin. Nancy is always quick to assist in making appointments, answering the phones, helping  with forms and documentation, and taking messages if one of us is away from our desk. She is an amazing asset to have on board and works hard daily. When she's not at work, she can be found playing with her pups, spending time with her husband and mom, and partaking in online shopping.

Cooper Bumgardner, Official Greeter and Junior Supervisor

Cooper came on board in early 2024. He quickly went from pesky pup to the official office greeter and law dog. Cooper loves people and especially children. He has a knack for soothing difficult emotions and nervousness when people (and children) are a little apprehensive--he knows that going to a law office is hard sometimes!

His favorite things are giving puppy kisses, receiving pets, playing fetch (and tug-of-war), and playing with toys next to kids while they play or draw on the chalk board at the office. His least favorite thing is being picked up, so we steer clear of that.

Cooper also understands that sometimes he needs to spend some time in the back and won't mind if someone visits that isn't on board with all the puppy love he has to give. Just let our staff know!
